POLICY ON CIVIL DEFENCE

RATIONALE
The school requires civil defence policies and procedures for its own community, and for probable neighbourhood use in the event of a civil emergency.
AIMS
1. To provide procedures to meet each kind of emergency.
2. To make provisions for such emergencies.
GUIDELINES
1. The school has storage of food and water for two days, blankets, cooking and toilet facilities, first aid kit, radio etc. as suggested by the Regional Council.
2. Procedures for dealing with each kind of emergency are posted in each room, and provided to parents on enrolment.
